Hope everyone had a restful weekend, because Kandalore is upon us!!
For students who ARE going to Kandalore:
- remember to pack smart - you don't need wardrobe changes for every event!
- remember to bring a flashlight - otherwise, those nighttime bathroom breaks can be a little challenging!
- in the morning, you need to line up like every other morning to come upstairs for attendance (this is when we'll be giving out bus tags); the buses will arrive at approximately 9:15, so we have to be quick and efficient.
- sleep well tonight! You're going to have a busy day tomorrow!
For students who ARE NOT going to Kandalore:
- if you're not coming to school, please please have your parents or guardians contact the school to let the office know. (905)778-2010 and press 1 for Safe Arrival - a message is fine.
- if you are coming to school, Mrs. Fair and Mme Evans will be your teachers for the next few days - we will have some activities for you to do and you will likely help with a variety of things around the school at some point.
- you also need to line up in the morning on Monday to come up to our classroom for attendance. I believe the Grade 7 and 8 students who are not attending Kandalore, but who are attending school will be located in one of the Intermediate classrooms - if it's ours, please make sure that it's kept neat (you know what I'm like!), and if it's NOT ours, please make sure that it's kept neat, too :) Thanks!
- lunch will be eaten in Mrs Leggatt's classroom at first break, and Mrs Fennell's classroom at second break. Make sure that you do not leave a mess, as we are guests in another teacher's classroom.
- Enjoy your days!! We'll miss you and look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
