Hi everyone,
On the left side of our blog, you will see a "My Hero Discussion" link. Through this link, you will have an opportunity to discuss ideas relating to your thoughts about heroes with students all around the world. Please remember that what you post reflects you as a person, it reflects me as a teacher, and it reflects us as a school community. You will be held responsible for everything you post. The discussions are directed and are not a forum to socialize with each other - the intention is that you will have conversations with other students around the globe.
Your logins will be given to you within the next couple of days. We will go over the process together in class.
Please remember that we are collecting items for the welcome packages that are being sent to the other schools in our My Hero Learning Circle. Small, light-weight items that represent our community, province, and country are ideal (and we would need 7, as we have to send one package to each of the other participating groups). At the moment, Mrs. Bickley's class has contributed a great deal, and it is our responsibility to contribute as well. Please see that anything you'd like to include is discussed with me on Tuesday and ready to send on Wednesday. Thank you!
