You will use Bitstrips to:
o Create a comic strip about Confederation in your colony
o Demonstrate knowledge of:
o Reasons for Confederation
o Fathers of Confederation
o Outcome of Confederation
Success Criteria:
o Appropriate title and include your colony’s name
o Include at least TWO characters, ONE of which is a Father of Confederation
o Characters must look appropriate in appearance
o Include at least TWO reasons FOR and AGAINST Confederation
o Include the correct outcome – does your colony join Confederation?
o Appropriate tone (serious, not silly)
o Appropriate dialogue between characters (remember, this is a History assignment (purpose), for your History teacher (audience))
o 6-10 frames
You must include valid, true information that supports your colony’s choice to join or not join Confederation. Use your colony’s Charlottetown Conference 1864 Chart that you created with your group, and the information sheets about your colony’s characters.
